4 weeks ago I had the pleasure of capturing Caitlin and Bob’s barn wedding in Pollesville, MD. “The Barn” as the location is simply called sits on a beautiful piece of property off route 28. When I took their engagement photos in Oct. last year, “the barn” which was originally built in 1884 had just been remodeled. The bride’s mom Lynn rents a home off of the same property so when Jim, the owner heard of Caitlin and Bob’s engagement he suggested they hold their wedding there. Caitlin, who originally wanted a beach wedding could not help but say yes as the newly rebuilt barn is “gorgeous” per Caitlin and it sure was! It was beautiful one year ago during their engagement session and so picturesque one year later for their wedding. The lights, the flowers, the mismatched china, the signs and all the thoughtful details the couple included made for a romantic and rustic backdrop for their special day.

The details...

Caitlin and her wedding party got ready at the main house in the property owned by Jim & Carol. The white colonial home had a gorgeous front porch which was the perfect setting for taking portraits of the beautiful bride and her ladies. It was also here where I took photos of their almost first look.
