I am 49 years old and am happily married to the love of my life, Peter.  I am also a mom to Matt & Lexi (24 & 22), a step mom to three boys, Michael, Eric & Colin (32, 30 & 26) and mom to my furry children Henry, a Havanese and Stella, a Maine Coon mix Calico.  I am also a food enthusiast, a world wanderer and a fitness fiend.  But for this story, photographer.

My passion for photography started with the birth of my first child in 1992.  I invested in my first SLR, a Nikon N70.  I knew nothing about the art of photography, only that I simply wanted to take good photos and capture the special moments  and milestones of my children.  With great determination I taught myself through a lot of reading and putting into practice by taking a lot of photos.   From there my love for photography grew.  Thank goodness for the advent of digital cameras!  I now shoot with a Canon 5D iv and for the last four years, photography has become both a vocation and an avocation.

The still image captures a unique moment in time and offers it again and again, holding a memory to be treasured, passed on and shared.  I strive to capture the look of wonder in a child's face, the tenderness found in exchanged glances, the giddy excitement of a bride-to-be, the pride & joy in a young mother's face as she cradles her newborn or the look of adoration as a groom sees his bride for the first time.  Whether it's a candid shot from a lifestyle shoot or a posed portrait session, each image is a one-of-a-kind view on that life, in that moment.   Through photographs, I embrace your narrative and hope to tell your story with clarity, emotion and truth.
