Mother’s Day weekend this year was very special for 3 reasons – one, my daughter Lexi graduated from Northeastern University in Boston the Friday before. Two, my son Matt is finally back home for good from a 3 year working stint in the Philippines and he arrived in time for the graduation. Three, I’ve long wanted to have the very scenic Boston Public Gardens as a backdrop for a photo shoot. So here are some of my favorite photos from the perfect storm of having both my children on Mother’s Day weekend after 7 years, celebrating a huge milestone in Lexi’s graduation including no more tuition payments, and the gorgeous setting the BPG provided for capturing this moment as Mom and photographer.
